This policy explains how Elad Shlomo Rahat ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website, contact us, or use a WhatsApp bot or automation that we build and operate for a business.

This website and service are operated by Elad Shlomo Rahat (רהט אלעד שלמה), a registered exempt dealer (Osek Patur) in Israel.

Data we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- From businesses that hire us: business contact details, and the information needed to connect their WhatsApp Business account, such as the account ID, phone number ID, display name and message templates. We receive this through Meta's official onboarding flow, with the business's permission.
- When you chat with a bot we operate for a business: your WhatsApp phone number, profile name, the messages you send and receive, and message delivery status. We process this on behalf of that business.
- This website: the site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
How we use data
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you or your business asked for.
- To send and receive WhatsApp messages on behalf of a business, and to run the flows it configured, such as bookings, reminders and answers to questions.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use message content for advertising.
Our role for business customers
When we run a WhatsApp bot for a business, that business decides why and how its customers' data is used, and we process the data on its instructions. If you are a customer of such a business, you can also contact the business directly about your data.
Who we share data with
- Meta Platforms: WhatsApp messages are sent and received through the WhatsApp Business Platform, which is subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
- Service providers: hosting, database and email providers that help us run the service, under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
- The business you are chatting with: conversation data is made available to the business that operates the bot.
- Authorities: only when required by law.
Some providers may store data outside Israel. When they do, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep data
We keep contact enquiries for up to 24 months. We keep conversation data for as long as the business that hired us needs it to run its service, and delete it within 30 days after that business ends its service with us, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and the minimum data needed for each task. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and other laws that may apply to you, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email elad@eladrahat.me. See our data deletion instructions for details. You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from a business at any time by replying "STOP" or by blocking the number.
Children
Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be communicated to our business customers.
